Week 6 Update
The past week I have been working on getting Dr. Bellis a table of the longitude and latitude coordinates of the New York State boundary. To do this I had to covert the states shape-file to a line and then cut the line in to points. Here is a map of the points which had their longitude and latitude coordinates in the attribute table.
Dr. Bellis is using a different mapping program for his galaxy data, so I sent him a table of the longitude and latitude coordinates of New York cities. Below is the plot that he made with his program from the city data points I provided.
